1. Acceptance of Terms

By using DripDrop, a Getaway Events product, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. The Service

DripDrop is a platform that allows users to catalog clothing items ("Drops") and facilitate clothing swaps.

DripDrop is a facilitator only. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee the quality of any items swapped between users.

While Getaway Events may conduct a 'style-check' at specific events to ensure aesthetic consistency, neither Getaway Events nor the Venue Host inspects items for hygiene, allergens, or structural integrity.

All items are swapped 'as-is.' Participants are solely responsible for inspecting and laundering items before use. No claims are made regarding the authenticity or brand value of any item.

3. User Responsibilities & Safety

Getaway Events provides the DripDrop platform as a convenience tool.

  • Off-Site Interaction: Any communication or physical meetups occurring outside the official Getaway Events venue/hours are strictly between the individual users.

  • Indemnification: Getaway Events and the Venue Host are not responsible for any disputes, safety incidents, or losses resulting from private meetups coordinated via the app.

  • Conduct: You agree to use DripDrop for lawful purposes only.

  • Physical Meetups: Users are solely responsible for their safety during physical pickups/drop-offs. We strongly recommend meeting in public, well-lit "safe zones" or public lobbies.

  • Accuracy: You agree to provide honest descriptions and photos of your items.

4. Limitation of Liability

By attending an event hosted by Getaway Events, you expressly release, hold harmless, and waive any and all claims against:

  • Getaway Events (including its staff, volunteers, and owners).

  • The Venue Host (the property owner/manager where the event is held).

This waiver applies to any and all injuries, illnesses, or damages to personal property that may occur during the event, including but not limited to slips, falls, or allergic reactions to items swapped. You attend and participate at your own risk.

Getaway Events is not liable for:

  • Stolen, damaged, or misrepresented items.

  • Disputes between users.

  • Any personal injury or property damage resulting from meetups.

Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

To provide the DripDrop experience, we collect:

  • Account Info: Name, email, and password.

  • Profile Info: Social media handles (e.g., Instagram) provided by you to facilitate communication.

  • Content: Photos and descriptions of your clothing "Drops."

  • Location Data: If enabled, we use your location to show you swaps nearby or to coordinate drop-offs.

2. How Your Data is Shared

  • With Other Users: Your social media handles and item locations are visible to other users to allow for swap coordination.

  • Public Profile: Your "Most Loved" drops and your social media username may be visible to the DripDrop community.

  • We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers.

3. Event Photography & Media

By attending a Getaway Events swap, you acknowledge that photography and video recording may occur. These images may be used by Getaway Events for promotional purposes on social media or DripDrop. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify a staff member upon arrival.

4. Your Choices

  • Account Deletion: You may request to delete your account and all associated "Drops" at any time by contacting us.

5. Security

We implement standard industry security measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
