DripDrop Community Guidelines

Welcome to the loop! To keep our community safe, stylish, and sustainable, we ask all "Droppers" to follow these rules.

1. Be Real (Accuracy is Everything)

  • True-to-Life Photos: Upload clear, unedited photos of your items in natural light.

  • The "Honesty" Policy: If a piece has a loose thread, a missing button, or a small stain, disclose it in the description. We love a well-loved item, but nobody likes a surprise hole!

  • No "Catfishing" Clothes: Only post items you actually intend to bring to the swap or coordinate for a drop-off.

2. Quality & Hygiene

  • The "Freshness" Standard: All items must be freshly laundered before being swapped.

  • Condition Check: While we celebrate vintage and pre-loved, please do not post items that are beyond repair, heavily pilled, or have strong odors.

  • Safety First: Do not list items that could be hazardous (e.g., recalled baby gear or items with sharp, broken elements).

3. Respect the Connection

  • Social Ettiquete: If you link your socials, use them for coordination and community-building only. Spamming, harassment, or unsolicited marketing is strictly prohibited.

  • No Hate Speech: We are an inclusive community. Any content—text or image—that promotes discrimination based on race, gender, orientation, disability, or religion will be removed immediately.

4. No Professional Selling

  • Swap, Don’t Sell: DripDrop is for community swapping. Please do not use your "Drops" to link to commercial storefronts, resale boutiques, or for-profit businesses.

  • Authenticity: If you aren't sure a brand-name item is authentic, please list it as "unverified" or "inspired by."

5. Safety in the Physical World

  • Coordination: When using DripDrop to coordinate a pickup, always prioritize your safety. Meet in public places and let a friend know your plans.

We rely on our community to keep the vibe high. If you see a post or encounter a user that violates these guidelines, please use the Report button.

Violation of these rules may result in content removal or a permanent ban from Getaway Events and the DripDrop app.
